Singapore Embassy & Singapore Tourism Board in Manila in First ASEAN Tourism Summit at World Trade Centre

The Singapore Embassy and the Singapore Tourism Board in Manila participated in the first ASEAN Tourism Summit on 2 May 2019 at the World Trade Centre. The summit, presented by the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Philippines and Go Negosyo in partnership with the Philippine Department of Tourism, highlighted the importance of developing an integrated tourism industry among ASEAN countries to achieve sustainable socio-economic growth in the region, and served as a platform to discuss what the Philippines and other ASEAN countries have done to improve the development of sustainable island tourism.
