STATE VISIT BY PRESIDENT S R NATHAN TO THE REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES 13-16 FEBRUARY 2007
President S R Nathan will make a State Visit to the Republic of the Philippines from 13 to 16 February 2007 at the invitation of Philippine President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.
President Nathan will meet President Arroyo, who will also host a State Banquet in his honour. President Nathan will also meet Philippine Vice President Noli De Castro, former President Fidel Ramos and other eminent Filipinos. President Nathan will officiate at the ground-breaking ceremony for Ascendas' Net Commercial Development Project in the Fort Bonifacio Global City area and meet the Singapore Community in Manila.
President Nathan will be accompanied by Mrs Nathan, Senior Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Information, Communications and The Arts Balaji Sadasivan and Mrs Balaji Sadasivan, Minister of State for Manpower and Education Gan Kim Yong, Parliamentary Secretary for Community Development, Youth and Sports Teo Ser Luck, Member of Parliament Michael Palmer and senior officials.
